The artefact

 

    

So for my artefact I have decided to have a go at....song writing!

As someone who has never written a song before, much less a musical theatre song which encompasses how I feel about module three/ inquiry process/vocal  health and a song that I will be getting assessed on, this is definitely a challenge. 

But I'm (in a way) quite glad I've given myself the challenge and it makes the most sense for me and the topic of vocal health in musical theatre to use my voice to express that I think. 

 My process so far has involved drawing inspiration from various musical theatre patter songs, reflecting A LOT on module three and what this whole inquiry has brought up for me and looking back through the focus groups I conducted. 

That and trying to list words that rhyme...very reminiscent of Phoebe's techniques.

Hopefully I will have the lyrics fully tidied up and  the whole thing recorded soon. 

I hope everyone is getting on well with their artefacts. If you feel  kinda overwhelmed and confused and like it's a bit of a stab in the dark, you're not alone! But we've gotten this far so we must be doing something right! x
